Very clean and convenient location near the Fountain of Youth with friendly staff. Amenities included a nice pool and a good breakfast selection, which was great traveling with an infant. the room felt outdated and had a strong bleach smell. Bugs were found in the bathroom, and the noisy A/C disrupted sleep. Walls were thin, making it tough to escape the sounds from neighboring rooms. A mix of pleasant and disappointing experiences, but the location and services provided made part of it worthwhile despite the issues.

Villa 1565 offers a prime location right by the trolley stop, making it easy to explore historic St Augustine. The staff were exceptionally friendly, adding a personal touch to our stay. Enjoyable breakfast options on-site were a convenient bonus, especially given the limited nearby dining choices!

I loved the beautiful outdoor area with the Old Senator Tree—it’s a hidden gem! The location was perfect for exploring and felt so peaceful. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was tasty!

The room was clean and modernized, featuring a strong AC unit that kept the temperature comfortable. I appreciated the convenient microwave and refrigerator. the room had some humidity and a lingering booger on the headboard that should be addressed. Despite some bugs the first night, they didn’t return. The noise level was minimal, allowing for restful sleep. I’d suggest adding pamphlets with amenities details and better shading in the parking lot to protect cars from the heat. Housekeeping needed earlier wake-up calls, as cleaning times were limited. the space was quite enjoyable.

I was really disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. The floors were so dirty that we had to wash our feet before getting into bed, and the furniture was covered in dust. It felt completely uninviting!

The ironing facilities were a nice touch, making it easy to freshen up our clothes after being on the road. The heating and air conditioning worked well, allowing us to set the room to our preferred temperature. Having access to tea and coffee facilities was a lifesaver for us, especially in the mornings when we needed a quick pick, me, up. The sitting area was comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We also appreciated the garden furniture outside, where we could sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The free toiletries provided were a nice bonus, saving us from having to pack our own. On the downside, we did notice some areas that could use improvement. The carpeted floor in our room seemed a bit worn and could benefit from a deep clean. The am/fm alarm clock was a bit outdated and could be replaced with a more modern option. the flat, screen TV had limited channel options, which was a bit disappointing. our stay at Villa 1565 was pleasant, with comfortable amenities and a peaceful atmosphere.

During my stay, I loved how easy it was to hop on the trolley just steps from the entrance, making it a breeze to explore all the amazing attractions nearby, like the Castillo de San Marcos which is only about 1.5 km away and St George Street, just a pleasant 15-minute stroll through the charming streets;

We hit up the Fountain of Youth and the San Marcos Castle, all within walking distance. Plus, we chilled at the beach just a short ride away. Being near all these sick spots made our trip unforgettable!
More dope nightlife options nearby would've kicked the party up a notch! .

Perfect location and great value. You're steps away from the Fountain of Youth and a quick walk to the Castillo de San Marcos. The room size is acceptable, with solid AC and reliable Wi-Fi. Breakfast offers the basics—scrambled eggs, sausage, and some pastries—nothing extraordinary. Cleanliness fell short. The floors were less than acceptable, and the bathroom needed more attention during our stay. Staff was friendly but needed reminders for room service. The communal patios are lovely for gatherings. While there’s a trolley stop on the property, walking to downtown offers its own charm. Not a luxury stay, but it has potential if they improve housekeeping. Would consider returning for the location.

Our family visited the nearby Fountain of Youth, the charming streets of Saint Augustine, the impressive San Marcos Castle, the sunny beach, and the fun zoo all within a short drive from the hotel. The convenient location made exploring easy and enjoyable for all.
My wife says that the hotel lacks child-friendly activities.

During a romantic getaway, we enjoyed a delicious complimentary breakfast with a variety of hot dishes. The hotel's location was ideal for exploring the historic area and the preserved old tree added a charming touch to our stay. The comfortable bed provided a cozy night's sleep after a day of sightseeing.
Late, night check, in process was disorganized and time, consuming, leading to initial uneasiness. The room was outdated and showed signs of neglect, with stained furniture and unwelcome pests.

The location of Villa 1565 - Saint Augustine was perfect for my visit to the historic district. I appreciated the 24-hour coffee in the lobby and the complimentary breakfast buffet, which provided a great start to my days of exploration. The cleanliness and attention to detail, such as housekeeping staff wearing a new pair of gloves at the start of every shift, were impressive.

Had a wonderful Christmas stay at this charming spot! The location couldn't have been better, with plenty of attractions within walking distance and a cozy courtyard to relax in. The room was spotless and updated, giving off a fresh vibe that was perfect for the holiday season.
Despite the great location and cleanliness, there were some areas that could use improvement. The breakfast fell short of expectations, serving a limited selection that didn't quite hit the mark.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel in St. Augustine! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and modernity of the rooms. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast spread was delicious and had a wide selection of food. We loved the convenient location, being within walking distance to all the attractions in the historic district. this hotel exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to come back with our friends in June!

the property was walking distance to charming shops and restaurants, and the tour trolley conveniently picked us up right outside our room. the swimming pool and the historic 600-year-old oak tree on the property were beautiful, and our room was clean, brightly lit, and well-maintained. Breakfast was well-organized, with the option of grab-and-go bags, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Precious, the concierge, was especially warm and hospitable, making us feel welcome during our late-night arrival.

clean and spacious room with very comfortable bed and nice toiletries. walkable to town and within a mile of the happening area. the staff were friendly; the night clerk even gave me a toothbrush. breakfast was decent, and there's a liquor store on the property.
